Yusra Farzan is a long-form, multimedia journalist who reports at the intersection of race and culture. Her work has appeared in PBS SoCal KCET in the United States, Gulf News in Dubai, UAE and LankaWoman magazine in Sri Lanka. She has also provided cultural insights to inform marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 brands such as Mattel. She is a graduate student in the Specialized Journalism program, a managing editor at Annenberg Media and culture editor at Ampersand LA.
