Clarissa Kerner is a writer from Los Angeles, California. She received her BA from Reed College in English literature, which led to editorial and permissions work in book publishing (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, New Directions, Ugly Duckling Presse). Most recently, she was as a manager and event curator at The Old American Can Factory, an arts institution based in Brooklyn, New York, where she developed a background in arts and culture. Clarissa’s interest is in visual art, photography and film.
